A sprayer is a plant protection machine used for chemical spraying of pesticides, weeds, insects, and liquid fertilizers in farmland. Currently, the commonly used motorized hydraulic boom sprayer in my country's farmland mainly consists of a frame, pesticide tank, hydraulic pump, transmission system, control system, filtration system, spray frame, infusion hose, connecting parts, and nozzles.

The key points for choosing a sprayer are as follows:

1. Reliable Performance

Reliable performance mainly means that when purchasing a sprayer, you should choose one manufactured by a professional manufacturer, which has passed quality appraisal by relevant departments, and has a good reputation in the market.

2. Complete Functions

When purchasing a sprayer, the key is to check whether the sprayer has the following functions to ensure spraying effect:

(1) Pressure Regulation and Stabilization Function. The working pressure of the sprayer should be 0.3-0.5 MPa, and it should have strong pressure regulation and stabilization capabilities. Generally, a pressure gauge is required. A suitable and stable working pressure can ensure good atomization, strong penetration, and appropriate floating and settling effects during spraying. (2) Reliable filtration function. The sprayer should generally have three-stage filtration: suction filtration, delivery filtration, and spray filtration; the mesh size of the final filter should be smaller than or equal to the nozzle orifice diameter.

(3) Return water stirring function. To ensure uniform pesticide concentration and prevent pesticide sedimentation, the return water stirring flow rate should be greater than or equal to 5% of the tank volume per minute.

(4) Back-suction anti-drip function. The back-suction function can draw residual pesticide from the pipeline back into the tank when spraying stops, preventing sedimentation and blockage, and effectively preventing dripping when spraying stops, avoiding waste and pesticide damage.

(5) Automatic water filling, nozzle height adjustment, safety pressure relief, and boom arm opening/closing functions for operation or transportation.

(6) If used for spraying crops with large ridge spacing (such as corn, soybeans, etc.), the sprayer should also have adjustable nozzle spacing to allow for spraying seedling strips at various ridge spacings, saving pesticide solution. 3. Reasonable Structure

The selection of a sprayer structure should consider its suitability for the power, operation, transmission, and installation of the supporting engine, as well as its compatibility with the size and shape of the work site. Priority should also be given to structures that facilitate maintenance, repair, and safe operation.

4. Robust and Durable

The sprayer's frame, spray rack, pesticide tank, spray pipe, infusion pipe, and connecting parts should possess sufficient strength. The pesticide tank, spray pipe, infusion pipe, and pipe connecting parts should also have strong corrosion resistance.

Furthermore, when purchasing a sprayer, the appearance quality should be checked. There should be no defects such as paint peeling, dents, cracks, missing parts, or looseness. The availability of spare parts and technical documents should also be checked.
