Clean the machine. Open all inspection port covers, remove all protective covers, and clean the drum chamber and conveyor chamber of any remaining debris. Remove any remaining straw, weeds, and dirt from the small vibrating plate, the bottom shell of the cleaning chamber, the inside and outside of the fan volute, the exterior of the gearbox, the header, the cab, and the engine exterior. After cleaning, start the machine and run all working parts at high speed for 3-5 minutes to expel all remaining debris. Then rinse the exterior of the machine with water and run it at high speed for another 3-5 minutes to remove any remaining water.
Lubrication. Perform thorough lubrication according to the combine harvester's lubrication diagram, lubrication table, and diesel engine manual. Then, idle the diesel engine at low to medium throttle for 5-10 minutes.
Maintain the cutter blades. First, separate the moving and fixed blades, removing any dirt or residue between them. Check for loose riveting, excessive wear, and deformation of the blade shank. If loose, tighten them immediately; if excessively worn, replace them; if deformed, correct them. Then reassemble as required. After reassembly, the gap between the moving and fixed blades should be within 0.20 mm, and the drive rod should slide smoothly without jamming. Then apply oil for rust prevention.
Inspect the threshing drum. Replace any excessively worn threshing teeth and correct or repair the side teeth.
Inspect the fasteners. Replace and tighten any loose or detached fasteners immediately.
Inspect the drive chains. Remove and clean all drive chains, checking for cracks or other signs of deterioration in the chain sleeves. Replace any problematic chains immediately.
Maintain the drive belts. Remove all drive belts and check for slippage, burning, aging, or damage due to prolonged use. Replace any belts found to be damaged. Reusable drive belts should be cleaned, coated with talcum powder, and reinstalled in their correct positions. Adjust them again before the next harvest.
Painting: Clean any areas of peeling paint from the metal surfaces of the machine and repaint.
Adjusting threads at all adjustment points: Apply grease, lower the reel and header to their lowest positions, and retract the lifting plunger into the hydraulic cylinder.
