Tractor drivers have accumulated many simple and practical skills through long-term transportation and farm work. These skills can often effectively solve awkward situations that arise during vehicle use. Below are two examples of how drivers cleverly use tractor air pumps, which we hope will be helpful to other drivers.
1. Inflating Tires.
The method is as follows: ① Park the tractor in a safe area and apply all brakes to prevent the vehicle from rolling. Remove the brake air hose from the trailer and connect it to the valve of the tire that needs inflating. ② Start the engine. When the air pressure reaches the ideal level, depress the brake pedal, and compressed air will enter the tire. After the tire is fully inflated, release the brake pedal and reconnect the brake air hose to the air hose connector on the trailer. For ease of operation, the ideal air pressure we refer to can be understood as 0.7-0.8 MPa.
2. Painting the Vehicle.
Similarly, stop the tractor, brake, and remove the brake air hose. Next, attach the paint spray bottle to the front end of the brake air pipe. When the pressure reaches 0.6 MPa, stabilize the engine throttle at the medium throttle position, and finally lock the brake pedal. Then you can start painting.
