I. All agricultural machinery should be cleaned, lubricated, adjusted, and tightened according to the instructions in the user manual before use to ensure that the machinery is in good technical condition for operation.

II. For the maintenance of the lubrication system of power machinery (such as tractors and diesel engines), in addition to using lubricating oil according to the specified standards, the lubrication system maintenance cycle and specifications should be strictly followed. The lubrication system should be cleaned regularly, and filter components should be replaced regularly to reduce wear on machine parts.

III. In early spring, the temperature is unstable and unpredictable. The correct use of the cooling system of power machinery should not be neglected:

(1) Continue to do a good job of antifreeze. When the nighttime temperature is below zero, the cooling water should be drained to prevent the machine body from freezing and cracking;

(2) When starting the machine at low temperatures, a preheating start should be performed;

(3) Pay attention to the normal operating temperature of the engine. It can only be run under no-load when the water temperature reaches above 40℃; it can only be started under load when the temperature is above 60℃; the normal operating temperature should be maintained between 80-95℃ to reduce unnecessary wear on the engine. IV. When tractors are performing rotary tillage, sowing, irrigation, or other operations, operating procedures must be strictly followed to ensure safe production.

Fuel Purification: Most agricultural machinery engines are currently diesel, making diesel fuel purification crucial. There are three methods for diesel fuel purification: First, let the purchased diesel fuel settle for at least 96 hours. Second, when refueling, place a filter screen in the funnel and then cover it with a layer of silk cloth. When taking oil from the drum, wrap the filter with a layer of silk cloth or typewriter wax paper, and clean or replace it regularly.

Lubricating Oil Purification: Always use clean lubricating oil that meets the machine's standards. The oil filter element should be cleaned regularly. For rotor-type filters, attach a layer of appropriately sized kraft paper to the inner wall of the rotor to facilitate the adsorption of dirt under centrifugal force. When cleaning the dirt adsorbed on the filter element, it is best to inflate it with an air pump, blowing air from the inside out, and then brush it with a brush; never rub it with your hands. Use clean calcium-based grease; do not use other types of lubricating oil.

Air Cleanliness: When the engine is running, the cylinders draw in 2-4 cubic meters of air per minute. To ensure the air entering the cylinders is clean, the air filter must be regularly inspected and cleaned.

Cooling Water Cleanliness: Soft water, such as snowmelt, rainwater, treated tap water, or clean well water, is best for engine cooling. When cleaning the cooling system, add 1% caustic soda and 0.5% kerosene by volume.

Machinery Cleanliness: Agricultural machinery operations are mostly carried out outdoors, constantly in contact with dust, mud, and water, making the machinery prone to dirt accumulation. Therefore, it should be frequently wiped clean to prevent rust, and touch-up painting should be applied when necessary to prevent corrosion.
