Farm Tractor clutch
The clutch consists of a driving part, a driven part, a clamping mechanism, and an operating mechanism.
1. The single-acting, single-plate dry clutch is the most common type of single-plate dry clutch compressed by a helical spring. The driven plate friction lining, driven steel plate, and hub are riveted together. A heat-insulating gasket is installed between the pressure spring and the pressure plate to prevent the spring from losing elasticity due to heat annealing. A torsional damper is installed on the driven plate to reduce the dynamic load on the transmission system; a wave spring is riveted to the driven steel plate of the driven plate, and the friction lining is riveted to the spring, which improves the smoothness of clutch engagement; the release lever 4 adopts a floating pin swing block structure to reduce frictional resistance during operation.
2. Single-acting double-plate or multi-plate clutches are used on hand-held and small four-wheel tractors. Due to their active drum, they utilize the engagement and disengagement limits: a high-speed engagement and disengagement limit is set to ensure sufficient separation clearance during high engagement and disengagement. Double-plate clutches with shaft brakes, when the release bearing moves backward, first disengage the clutch, then brake the clutch shaft.
3. A double-acting clutch consists of two clutches with different functions installed together: a primary clutch that transmits power to the drive wheels and a secondary clutch that transmits power to the power take-off shaft. When both clutches share a single pedal for operation, it is called a linked double-acting clutch. When the primary and secondary clutches use separate operating mechanisms, and their disengagement and engagement are independent of each other, it is called an independently operated double-acting clutch.
