Troubleshooting Tractor Automatic Gear Skipping
I. Causes of Tractor Automatic Gear Skipping:
1. Wear on the internal teeth of the secondary transmission sliding gear causes it to be thrown off under heavy load, automatically disengaging and skipping gear.
2. Wear or deformation of the secondary transmission shift fork causes axial displacement of the sliding gear, leading to gear skipping.
3. The gear lever is not fully pushed, causing the sliding gear to disengage and skip.
4. Severe wear on the locking groove between the locking ball and the shift fork shaft weakens the locking spring force, causing gear skipping.
II. Repairing Tractor Automatic Gear Skipping:
1. Replace the secondary transmission sliding gear.
2. Replace the worn or deformed shift fork.
3. Push the gear lever fully.
4. Repair or replace the locking spring.
